Lions in terrific form as they go into this one after dispatching 3 past Signol the week before.

Miller the only absentee for this one, he stays at home with illness, Andy also absent, he has work commitments, so Matt is called into help Chris out on the sidelines.

Lions starting with an unfamiliar line up, however as safe as can be with Freddie in goal, Keaton is called into defense to fill Millers role, Theo H alongside him, Alfie and Ronny operate the flanks, Leighton the terrier and Layton W play alongside each other up top, whilst Theo E and Alex sit alongside each other on the touchline.

We are underway! Lions not in any serious threat in the opening half as Keaton and Theo remain strong, however with Keaton called into defense, Lions really lack that well needed pace for breaking Tintwistle down, so changes are made at the half way point in what was a relatively quiet half with no team really threatening. 

​

Freddie again in goal, Theo H and Leighton the terrier in defense, Keaton is pushed forward on the wing, Ronny on the opposite side, Theo E and Alfie are together upfront.

Lions kick off the second half with a purpose, some explosive stuff with chances for Keaton, Ronny and Alfie, again though Lions not looking their usual self in the final 3rd as all chances directed the wrong side of the keepers post. Tintwistle looking threatening on the break now but Theo H and Freddie coming to the rescue on numerous times keeps the opposition attack at bay, score still 0-0 and thats exactly how it finishes. its a good draw for Lions however they would have liked to walk away with the win. Some excellent goalkeeping from Freddie throughout that second half as Tintwistle where starting to build momentum. Tintwistle probably edged the game having a chance hit the upright and one cleared off the line, also missing a penalty in the first half. Freddie man of the match but a very good defensive display from Lions.
